About me

Aaron Acerboni Hello welcome to the personal website of Aaron Acerboni 😀

I lift weights as a hobby 💪, work as a Paramedic 🚑 and enjoy computer programming 💻.

This website is a place for my thoughts, interests and other miscellanious stuff which you may find interesting. But I mostly focus on weight training.

A personal website may seem like a relic of the past, but to me it offers a therapeutic outlet similar to a diary.

Some history

Cheetahs Gym

I graduated with Honors BSc in Digital Media Development. This was a technical course which specialised in digital media and computers. I then interned for a web company called Hovr and then freelance for Dharmafly. During this period I spent my time networking and shared interests with the people of Brighton's web community at co-working spaces like The Skiff.

Whilst working at Dharmafly I had fairly low confidence so I chose to start weight training. Cheetahs gym happened to be the closest to my work. The gym and the people in it have plenty of character and it left a lasting positive impact on my life.

Later on I sought change in profession, so I was one of a lucky few accepted to EdgeHill University's excellent Paramedic Practice course. I earned a Diploma of Higher Education with distinction. During the course I trained in Manchester with North West Ambulance Service for 2 years before moving back home.

Now I spend most of my time working as a Paramedic, lifting weights and socialising with friends.

Where I live

The Vista of Casargo, Italian village I live in Brighton, UK. Brighton is a seaside city surrounded by green countryside with a diverse and unique population of people.

I was born near a village called Casargo in northern Italy. My parents brought me to Brighton, England when I was 3 years old. I have lived here ever since.
